Support H.O.P.E. and run (or walk) for a great cause! Come join us for the 2nd Annual Blair’s Tree of Hope 5K Walk/Run! Breathe in fresh air, eye the beautiful natural scenery, and get fit – all while coming together to help give others hope and support during difficult life situations. 100% of the proceeds from this event will go to support the Blair's Tree of Hope organization, a non-profit whose mission is to help the families of children who have been hospitalized with a life-threatening illness. This non-profit holds the core belief of Helping Other People Everyday (HOPE), and does so through providing these families with meals, gas and grocery gift cards, parking passes, toiletries, magazines, and books.There are no paid employees in this organization so every penny goes directly to the families in need. Last year's inaugural event was a huge success so fully expect this year to be even bigger and better! The scenic 5K route is appropriate for all fitness levels and will be held at the centrally located Bunker Hills Park Reserve in Andover, Minnesota. Refreshments will be served before and after the race, and each participant will receive a commemorative medal and t-shirt. Note: June 23 event. 5K check-in is between 8am–9:15am and event begins at 9:30am. Parking costs $5 per vehicle.
